What it needed: Make climate impact concrete and emotionally legible.

What I did: Built a narrative system and delivered social-first cutdowns optimized for clarity and pacing.

 

“Point of Snow Return” highlights the growing need for caps and regulation on harmful carbon emissions that directly contribute to climate change. Many of the past Winter Olympics locations are no longer viable for use since they can't sustain the base level of snow required to host the events.

This ad ran during the 2022 Winter Olympics in regions that generate significant portions of their income from outdoor tourism and snow sports. Much attention was paid to maintaining the organic and warm qualities of the can's artwork so hand drawn assets were used as prominent design elements throughout the spot.

The source artwork was made by Yeshi, a Brooklyn based illustrator. I used these files as reference to create the animated video.
